Visionome Limited warranty

1. Standard Warranty

Visionome warrants its hardware products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service. The standard warranty period is twelve (12) months, commencing on the date of shipment. Accessories, batteries, memory cards, product repairs, and spare parts are warranted for ninety (90) days. This warranty extends only to the original Buyer (or end-user) and is non-transferable.

2. Exclusions

This warranty does not apply to any product which has been misused, altered, neglected, contaminated, or damaged by accident or abnormal conditions of operation or handling. This includes, but is not limited to, overvoltage failures caused by use outside the product’s specified ratings, normal wear and tear of mechanical components, or software-related issues.

3. Warranty Claims & RMA Process

To obtain warranty service, the Buyer must notify the authorized Seller in writing within thirty (30) days of discovering the defect, and in any event within the warranty period. The Buyer must obtain a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number from the Seller before returning the product. Products must be returned with a detailed description of the defect.

The Buyer shall bear all costs and risks of transport when returning the product to the Seller. If the repair or replacement is covered under warranty, the Seller will cover the return shipment costs to the Buyer, provided that the return destination is within the European Union (EU).

For warranty returns to destinations outside the EU, the Buyer shall be solely responsible for all return shipping costs, duties, and taxes, and must independently arrange for the collection and transportation of the goods from the Seller’s premises. Regardless of the destination or who arranges the transport, the Seller assumes no risk for damage in transit.

4. Remedies

Visionome’s sole obligation, and the Buyer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty, is limited to (at the Seller’s sole discretion): refund of the purchase price, free of charge repair, or replacement of the defective product.

5. Out-of-Warranty Repairs

If the Seller determines that the failure was caused by conditions excluded from this warranty (as listed in Section 2), the Seller will provide an estimate of repair costs. Written authorization from the Buyer is required before commencing any non-warranty work. Following an out-of-warranty repair, the Buyer is responsible for all repair costs as well as all return shipment costs and arrangements, regardless of the destination.

6. Limitation of Liability

THIS WARRANTY IS THE BUYER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY AND IS IN LIEU OF ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE. VISIONOME AND ITS AUTHORIZED SELLERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY SPECIAL, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, PUNITIVE, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR LOSSES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, LOSS OF PROFITS, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM ANY CAUSE OR LEGAL THEORY.

7. Severability

If any provision of this Warranty is held invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such holding will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision.
